- Mix 4 tablespoonfuls of arrowroot powder in 1/8 litre of cold water
- Add the mixture to 1/2 liter boiling water over a low flame.
- Stir constantly until the porridge thickens
- For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of vanilla, 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg and a dash of ground cinnamon.
- Remove from heat and sweeten to taste. Makes two servings.
